The annual Women's Conference in Long Beach is going on right now and is making big headlines with Maria Schriver and many others by inspiring and empowering women during this heated election season. The Los Angeles Moms' Blog has been liveblogging the event since last night, proving themselves as a blog to be taken seriously. I heard on the news this morning that the event sold out in 3 hours after the tickets went on sale. I typically stay away from gender based confernces and seminars but I want to know what all the fuss is about...maybe just the high profile and celebrity draw, I don't know. I have a few friends that went and I'll ask them why it's such a big deal.
