The Los Angeles Kings' strategy of spotting the opponent a two-goal lead before surging to a thrilling comeback (that worked so well in the last two games) let them down on Monday night against the Colorado Avalanche. The Kings head to St. Louis for their next contest against the Blues, Friday at 5:30. The next home game for LA is against the 2008 Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings on Monday at Staples Center.
