You Can Still Get Tickets to See Giada!

I know what you are all thinking whenever you see Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis. Sorry, she's married, and that cool "camping outside your house" demonstration of love from Valley Girl has been outlawed since the 80s. No, what you are all thinking is, "Oh God, I wish I could taste that food!" Well, this is your lucky day!

The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills is presenting an evening series titled A Taste of Media which " takes an insider’s look at the culinary world’s impact on media." Tuesday, October 28, Giada De Laurentiis will be honored during a special event including a screening and conversation in the Center’s intimate John H. Mitchell Theatre, followed by a book signing and tasting reception with a menu chosen by Giada from her own recipes.

Giada will premiere an episode of her new Food Network series, Giada At Home. Join us for an on-stage conversation following the screening, where Giada will sign her latest book, Giada's Kitchen: New Italian Favorites, at an exclusive post-event reception you won't want to miss.

And believe it or not, there are still a few tickets available! This is as close as you are going to get without being hauled away by security guards, so get your tickets now! (And check out the upcoming event with Cat Cora!)

Actually what I usually think watching her show is "I wish she was in my kitchen. And you know, food and sex are not that far removed from one another."

As in jelly roll? Hambone? I don't know what you mean! (If you don't like my peaches, baby, please don't shake my tree...)

Elise you are a tease. Jelly roll indeed. That got a rise *cough* out of me.

I wrote a 20-page essay on "The use of food as a sexual metaphor in the blues" in college, email me and I'll send you a copy.

Anyways, go see Giada! I am so there! With my tent and everything.

Jelly roll. Heh.

Glad to know I'm not the only one so distracted when watching her show that I come away with zilch in the way of recipes.
