Pet Protestors Take on Melrose's The Puppy Store

Kim Sill and the volunteer protesters and so-called investigators of Last Chance for Animals have already shut down four alleged LA area puppy mill pet stores since May. So why stop there? Their next could-be victim is The Puppy Store on trendy Melrose Avenue.

Armed with signs in one hand and Chanel bags in another, the soccer moms protested with The Rad Girls and had a chance to chase uber supermodel Gisele Bündchen down the sidewalk, urging her not to buy a puppy. Their loud street mantra? "Adopt! Don't shop!"

That store is horrible and everytime I walk past there I get upset and wonder how it's legal for this shit to still be happening. Good on these women for doing something about it!

Though I wish they wouldn't have included the loud Abba music in the video (wtf?), makes it really hard to hear what anyone is saying.

reform is a must... but, please tell me these protesters have a plan for all of the puppies (or within the coming months grown dogs) left unsold due to their actions.

I cry every time I walk past that store

Assholes

I was wondering what the next cause that rich, white people would be up-in-arms about. I guess this is it.

First of all, when this store closes and it will the puppies will be rescued by animal welfare groups so don't worry. This is a another disgusting puppy mill front, when you buy a puppy from this store then they order more from the mill, understand that until these stores don't exist the puppy mills will keep breeding misery. Stop the animal abuse, boycott these stores, don't shop or even walk in. I can't wait until more protesters blast this store like they are doing across L.A. county.
