I love how Palin refuses invitations to Meet the Press, Sunday Morning, MSNBC, hell even the Today Show, and yet accepts this one.

Obviously a last-ditch effort by the campaign - after all, what do they really have to lose? Unlikely that the polls would dip merely as result of Palin's appearance; if anything, it might jump just a tad because voters like seeing politicians making fun of themselves. But more likely - too little, too late. And if SNL refused to let her go on, then the campaign could have definitely made a big stink out of it .. that campaign ruins everything.

Yeah, I really dont understand the logic in having her on. Tina Fey is so obviously anti mccain/palin. Will Fey be on the show too? I suppose its only fair but, I cant imagine the audience going to give her the reception they gave Hillary a few weeks ago. This is a bad idea.
