It's Like Rock Band, but for... Tweens

From dance schools to singing lessons, shopping at trendy boutiques, and watching loads of teen stars strut their stuff, Southern California tweens have loads of opportunities to feel like a pop star. To get the full experience, Los Angeles based company Electronic Arts has created a virtual pop star training ground for the Wii. Boogie SuperStar hit stores this week.

In Boogie SuperStar players design their own character, choose their favorite tracks, and practice their dance moves. Does she look like Britney? Does she sing a Panic at the Disco song? The game has an option to be able to perform with friends. It's a girlie girl's dream come true.

The song list includes tracks by Natasha Bedingfield, Rihanna, Fergie, Katy Perry, Leona Lewis, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears and more. Maybe soon we'll hear about the Boogie SuperStar night at local bars. If The Dan Band can sing Britney songs, so can you. It all culminates in the chance to compete in the Boogie SuperStar Show, but will you sing "Bleeding Love" or "Toxic"?

The question is can we get a Boogie SuperStar star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?

At Target Presents Variety’s Power of Youth event was held on Sat. Oct. 4, these stars got their boogie on.
