According to CBS2 News, at 1:30 this morning the Sesnon fire jumped Sesnon Boulevard, "a major artery" for evacuations and firefighting efforts, and is heading towards homes in Granada Hills. As of 4:30 this morning, approximately 18 structures have burned, 8 or 9 of those were homes. The fire is burning on three fronts, and embers continue to ignite new fires. The most dramatic footage is east of Reseda around Sesnon.

CURRENT SIZE: 5000+ acres

CURRENT CONDITION/CONTAINMENT: Active Wildfire. The blaze has moved southwest from point of origin, jumped the Santa Susana Pass (State Route 118) and is continuing southwest. The fire is wind-driven south of SR118 and topography-driven north of SR118. A containment statement has not been issued.

There is no Metro bus service into the Porter Ranch area until further notice.

The Metrolink Ventura line northbound service will end at the Van Nuys station.

Metro will provide bus bridge service to Metrolink customers to Ventura County.

Antelope Valley Transit and Santa Clarita Transit ticket and pass holders can ride the Metrolink Antelope Valley line for free.
