<description>&lt;p&gt;I would think its more tied to Gas prices than economic indicators. (Though, arguably, those are linked). But Gas has a direct link to people&apos;s preference of driving versus finding an alternate mode of transpo or carpooling. As Gas prices go up, more parking spots become available.

Arguably, as the economy has troubles, people are also trying to save more, and may drive less for the same reasons. But this is less direct.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
