Strangely enough, his opponent blasted him for being a part of the Council of American-Islamic Relations just a few weeks earlier. Great... next they will be saying that talking dolls are pro-Islamic too. Waitaminnit.
• Everyone gets tired... some just get a chance to rest more than others. Police officers are stretched and need rest too. Hope these guys were OK and got a well deserved break.
• California is feeling the crunch more than many state and has prompted the Governator into action. He is asking Californians to invest in the state by purchasing short term state bonds. So will this mean he won't cut important social programs? Education?
• Everyone needs to make a living... some just choose to go about it illegally. Custom agents say that there is a significant increase in the attempt to smuggle counterfeit goods into LA. Better take a closer look at that "Rollex" you bought on sale.
• Contrary to the popular belief of some biased polls, Californians are indeed brilliant. But you already knew that. Here is more proof... 12 out of the last 17 Nobel Prizes in Chemistry have been won or shared by a Californian. Yeah that's right... CALIFORNIA! Now let's put those smarts into fixing this air.
• Finally, a quick reminder... Dial '1' before the area code in the Valley so you can get ready to the new "747" area code coming in May. Why the new code? Officials say its the growing population but some folks are pissed because after all... the Valley is known as "The 818".
