This is what this band does - the entire show is loud and then they take it to another level to close it out. The noise break in 'Realise' lasted over 30 minutes during the Palace show on the Loveless tour, so this was short by comparison. One of the best concerts of recent memory and I only hope that my friends who missed them this time around get another crack at seeing them in person.

The only they play like that is to get rid of the posers.

I expected the sounds, I expected volume, awesome fucking show.

I went last nite and thought it was a great show...up until the 15 minutes of noise. 5 minutes of that would have been AWESOME. 15 minutes became torture. A little too self-indulgent for my tastes...and I don't mind dome self-indulgence now and then. The worst part was there didn't seem to be any variation. I was also feeling sick so that might have been part of it.

I went to last night's show and am still shellshocked. I've been to Slayer shows, Sonic Youth shows and what not, but MBV was the loudest show by far I've ever experienced. And the strobe lights were very seizure-inducing. All day today I just felt like I was attacked for an hour nonstop.

That said, what an awesome show!
