I watched this a few times and I've added my own dialogue. My version is inspired by the late Bernie's Mac take on it: "If you grown enough to talk back, you grown enough to get fucked up!" It kind of plays out like one of those horrible [insert subject] Movies. Like Date Movie. Horrible stuff is going on in the background while the front characters completely ignore it (the girl in the hoodie).

This is a shameful reminder of just how insensitive some are towards violence. As much as we could call this "ghetto" - what happened, the response, etc. - I'm not at all convinced. If this went down in the middle of the suburbs would people intervene anymore? It might be more shocking, but my guess is folks would still hesitate to intervene. By and large we've become a society of bystanders. This clearly proves that.
