Celebrate the new month and season with the multimedia sensation Pilgrim as they make their U.S. debut at the Wilshire Theatre. A night of music, magic and mystery, titled Thank Q as it is a tribute to the great humanitarian work of legendary musician/producer Quincy Jones.

ART
Who would have thought that the man behind one of the greatest works of arts, the Mona Lisa, would also be responsible for some of the more humorous drawings of the time? A Light Touch: Exploring Humor in Drawing, currently exhibiting at the Getty Center is a collection of humorous European drawings and includes works by Leonardo da Vinci, Urs Graf, Giambattista Tiepolo, Francisco de Goya, Thomas Rowlandson and Pierre Bonnard. Through December 7th.

THEATRE
LA Opera presents Giacomo Puccini's operatic masterpiece Madama Butterfly. A tragic tale of an ill fated love between a young Japanese maiden and an American Navy officer, set in 1890s Japan. Through October 18th.

THEATRE 2
The Civilians present their latest work: This Beautiful City. The play examines the fervor behind the Evangelical movement, its effect on its unofficial base city, Colorado Springs and the effects of pastor Ted Haggard's sex scandal on the community.
