Now that is pretty friggin' sick. You know I read recently that the LAPD (I know this guy's a sheriff) has like this astronomically high suicide rate. And then reading some like this, it makes you wonder. Like, is it the job stress or is it that deranged homicidal sick psycho freaks are attracted to law enforcement careers? And the question is no slam against the law enforcement community---I have an uncle who's a retired deputy sheriff; a good man, good husband and good father. There are plenty of good cops. But how does a guy like the one who butchered up his wife's boyfriend's face...like don't they regularly administer psych tests to cops and all that? But I guess that gets back to the suicide rate. How can one predict such things, you know. d.
