"venice Abbot Kinney and San Juan is still the hoody hood". One moment people are screaming that the area is too "gentrified' and the next it is "the hood". This time, it was "hood" related. This was "gang related" shooting and not just a random argument, as the LA Times stated it. As usual, they got it wrong. The Times and Villeragosa, our illustrious "11%of the time available" major, wants it know that the city is safe from gangs and illegal alien criminals and therefor they are willing to lie about everything, bending the truth whenever possible.

Abbot Kinney & California were in the initial reports but later details came out saying Abbot Kinney and San Juan where The Other Room is located.

The shooting occurred at Abbot & California, which is at least a couple of blocks from The Otheroom. If this guy just left the bar, how could he be 20ft from the man who was shot?
