If Your Car Was Broken Into, Maybe It Was These Guys

crimeTwo young men suspected of around 75 vehicles burglaries throughout the LAPD's Wilshire Division were caught Friday after a citizen perused suspects he witnessed breaking into his vehicle (911 operators will tell you not to chase suspects). An LAPD helicopter spotted the vehicle and followed it until LAPD patrol units caught up and the two, 22-year-old Ricardo Celio and 19-year-old Adan Bernal, were eventually caught.

Tip on How Not to Broken Into: The LAPD have a good saying called "Leave It, Lose It." Nothing's 100% but leaving something as small as an iPod charger is cause for some people to break a window. A laptop left on a car seat is a guarantee you want to give it away to strangers who aren't friends yet.

So he was just casually browsing shelves full of suspects, and picked one out?

Or did he PURSUE the suspect?
