TAKE A RIDE
C.I.C.L.E., a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the benefits of riding a bicycle, is taking their Urban Expeditions program to the theater district. Meet at 1 p.m. in front of Union Station and get ready to ride through L.A. history. You'll hear fascinating stories from the past, as well as see famous landmarks from these stories and beyond.

SHOWOFF YOUR JAZZ HANDS
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., downtown's Music Center will be teaching you all the rights moves to join the cast of your favorite musical. Each lesson will teach you a different style of dancing from one of several musicals including Chicago, The Lion King, The Producers, Wicked, STOMP, Dirty Dancing, and Hairspray. Only $1 per 20 minute lesson, excluding the Hairspray and Bollywood dances... those are free!

VISIT FROGTOWN
An area less traveled than others, communities along the L.A. river host a special Frogtown Artwalk today, with help from the Elysian Valley Arts Collective. Hidden within the seemingly empty warehouses and studios in the area, the artwalk will show off visiting and local artists' work, and host a live show made up of local bands. There will also be a guided tour of the L.A. river. With it's third year anniversary, this artwalk is moving on up.

STAY UP LATE
The New Beverly has partnered with Amoeba to bring you some classic movies every Saturday at midnight through the end of November. From the strange to the even stranger, the film selection is worth a look. Tonight's movie is Michael Mann's, The Keep shown on 35mm print for its 25th Anniversary.

Other Things To Do...
Check out the multi-gallery show, Eden Exhibition, taking place at La Luz De Jesus Gallery, Thinkspace, Black Maria, and more, join the sunset Autumn Equinox Hike at Franklin Canyon Park, and if you forgot how to ride a bike but still want to hang around the theater district, stop by the Orpheum Theater for a special tour inside at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.!
