After all the salt consumed by eating tons of deep fried foods like avocado and Oreos and a huge brick of cheese fries leaves one desiring sugar. The easy answer is Dr. Bob's in the farming area of the fair. When National Geographic released their 10 Best of Everything guide for travelers, Dr. Bob's Handcrafted Ice Creams came out at number two on the list.
Being blueberry ice cream fans, that's what we ordered and loved. To us, it definitely tied with the blueberry ice cream at Reimer's Candies & Ice Cream in Three Rivers, California just outside of Sequoia National Park.

That is a tasty picture!
Ice cream is a great call! My man Snack has never led me astray!s
You're going to die.
We're all going to die one day. Might as well live it up while you still can. Ha!
Dee-Lish-Us!
It took me all day to find that place without a map. Seriously, it became the quest and chant of the day. Find Dr. Bob's! Find Dr. Bob's!
Once I found it I was having a hard time deciding between the Cappuccino Crunch or the OREO. I tried cappuccino and really liked it, and then I was handed some OREO.
Literally...I put that spoon in my mouth and shouted OREO. I was happily surprised that my generous single scoop in a cup even had full sized freakin' cookies! C'mon... what's better then that?
OMG, I love Reimers!! Are you sure you don't mean their blackberry ice cream, btw? It's the big hit, made with local blackberries. :)
