Oh Please Don't Let Honolulu Win Over LA
Remember that crazy list from Travel + Leisure where we were ranked as the rudest and dumbest city earlier this month (and not to mention last year, too)? Well, the magazine has a little online bracketed game where you can vote for the best cities.
It puts San Francisco up against Phoenix, New York City against Minneapolis. It sounds like SF and NYC have it in the bag. But who is Los Angeles in competition with? Honolulu. For all the people who don't know Los Angeles like we do, Honolulu is an obvious and easy choice to make. So let's make sure they don't win. You can vote for Los Angeles by Sunday here.

one of things that i always loved about being a native los angeleno (even one who lives in nyc right now) is that while the rest of the country spent their time bitching and talking shit about LA, the people in LA were too busy living life, starting trends, enjoying the weather and doing their thing to really give a shit.
do you really care about this? the only people who vote for these things are the people who live in cities that allow them time to vote for these things.
