Walking on Beverly Boulevard we noticed some construction and signage going up at the corner of Sierra Bonita. With the letters H-E-blank-T-H, we took a guess and found the information on the Heath website, that in fact they are opening a location in Los Angeles:
We’ve forged a partnership with potter Adam Silverman (Atwater Pottery) to launch a new retail studio in Los Angeles this December. Our new Los Angeles outpost is located at 7525 Beverly Boulevard (at Sierra Bonita Avenue) in the central Los Angeles design district. The new LA facility is our second retail store after our original factory store opened in 1948 in Sausalito. Along with a retail store, we will also offer a gallery and studio that will focus on ceramic research and small run, custom work.
Heath ceramics tableware and tiles have been a mainstay of groovy homes since 1948. We couldn't be more excited to have the chance shop for their dishes, serving pieces, and vases at our very own LA location.
Some of the LAist writers grew up eating family meals on Heath dishes. Did you?

Great name for a store.
