Not that I disagree that the gas prices dropping probably contributed to this, but is it possible that the wide range of mechanical errors Metro has seen in the past month have also meant less riders? Because holy lord, taking the Metro in August was horrible.

My ride this morning was actually one of the first times over the past few months that there's been open seats when I've exited the train.
