West Beach Festival Begins Tomorrow

West Beach Festival in Santa Barbara
Part of the festival map

Despite the criticism thrown towards Glow in Santa Monica earlier this summer, it did prove one thing: concerts and festivals on the beach, especially at night are something people enjoy. Santa Barbara's West Beach is not the most popular in terms of swimming, but the location is used for events like 4th of July and will host space for this weekend's second annual 3-day West Beach Festival that begins tomorrow. The lineup includes Ziggy Marley, George Clinton, Jesca Hoop, Jason Mraz, Natasha Beddingfield and many others (tickets range from $35-55 depending on day).

One of the more popular aspects of traveling to Santa Barbara from Los Angeles in our opinion is their car free program. Amtrak and hotel discounts? We can't argue withthat.

That map looks like it was drawn by Sergio Aragonés.
