  • A man in Long Beach has been arrested for dealing meth out of his store. His "store" was supposed to be a Happy Moms and Kids Nutrition store where low-income families and their kids can get food.

  • Police have released video in hopes of catching a man who robbed a 14 year old boy of his iPod by knife point. The robbery was on a crowded bus but in full view of seven security cameras.

  • Two children in Long Beach escaped two separate kidnapping attempts. Police say that a 9 year old boy was approached by a man in a pickup truck on his way to school and an 8 year old girl was grabbed in a stairwell on campus. Both were able to get away and alert school officials.

  • Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors have hired an independent inspector to monitor the county hospitals. The board says they need a reliable way to get information on the state of county run hospitals.

  • An Orange County girls basketball coach has been arrested on charges of sexual misconduct. Police arrested Thomas Cole on campus where he worked as a coach and a security monitor. The acts allegedly happened at Cole's former home in Irvine.

  • LA Council has approved the building of signs along the Los Angeles Convention Center. The decision calls for electronic billboards and fixed-image billboards to be put up along the back of the Convention Center. Proponents say that the move brings in over $2 million a year. Opponents say however that the additional signage will be an eyesore on the Downtown LA skyline.
