Beck, who tends to throw secret and unannounced (but somehow always announced) warm-up shows in smaller Silver Lake venues might be playing Spaceland on Thursday, September 18. A comment left on a LosAnjealous post hints that a special guest "might be a warm up show for beck. He is playing street scene and the bowl that weekend."

Listed for that night on Spaceland's website is These Arms are Snakes from Seattle performing with sBACH (Spencer Seim from Hella) at the price of $10.

However, on Ticketweb where the the tickets go on sale today at noon, they are listed at $25.00 (most all Spaceland shows cost $10), so something's definitely up.

I thought Jenny Lewis was performing Thursday at Spaceland...Isnt that what you guys said last yesterday?

Thursday, the 18th, not tomorrow, which is the 11th. You're one week ahead, caliking01!

Ticketweb says Jenny is playing the 11th. Im so confused!

Beck already played his warm up show at the El Cid in August right before he started his US tour.

I'm not saying he can't do another secret show though...

the onsale (today's) has been cancelled. definitely weird circumstances surrounding this show
