The current average price for a gallon of regular gas in Los Angeles is $3.81. It's a little higher if you count in the state average which clocks in at $3.86. Back on June 19, the highest average price for gas reached $4.61. Here we are on September 8 and the Bottleneck Blog has a current photo of an Exxon in Calabasas selling regular at $4.69. Wow! That's an 88-cent difference than the area average! It's good to do a little comparison shopping, how isn't it? For a car with 12-gallons, you save over $10.

I go by this location all the time and am always checking to see if they have lowered their prices. There is also a station right across the street and currently the gap is about $0.80 per gallon.
When prices were rising this station was the first to that high but it never went higher than $4.99. Its been at that level for months now.
Yup, Mobile (Same company) is doing the same thing too. All the Mobiles by my house are almost 20 - 30 cents more then all the others including chevron.
