INDULGE IN LOBSTER SEASON
The Original Long Beach Lobster Festival closes up today. Every day of the festival, fresh lobster is flown in straight from Maine to feed the hungry masses. Enjoy live music, tons of vendors, and if lobster isn't enough for you, there will be plenty of food stalls to satisfy your massive hunger. Plus watch all the lobster be cooked in the "world's largest cooker".
CATCH A CLASSIC
How the West Was Won screens tonight at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood in it's original 3-Strip Cinerama format with 7-channel Cinerama Sound in the Cinerama Dome. Actors Carroll Baker, Claude Johnson, Russ Tamblyn and Stanley Livingston will be in attendance. Plus, if you are one of the first 100 people to line up, you will get a special edition How The West Was Won Blu-ray or HD DVD.
WATCH LIVE GRAFFITI ART
If you are one of those into the hip graffiti culture, 33Third is having a live art expo alongside a huge sale on graffiti art goods. Featured artists from around the country painting live include Sonic Aloy, Cab, Dash, Besk, Astek & Muck. There will also be clothing and music on sale, as well as plenty of painting supplies at majorly reduced prices.
TAKE AN URBAN BUS TOUR
Starting at Phillipe's downtown, the bus will take you on a journey through South L.A. to see the hidden architectural wonders of our city. The goal of the organizers is to give you a new way of looking at Los Angeles. The tour will take you through Santa Fe Springs, Downey, Bell Gardens and Vernon, stopping at historical landmarks such as The Gage Mansion, The Downey Space Plant, and Pueblo del Rio.
