Stand up to Cancer
Tune in tonight at 8pm for a landmark televised event that will simultaneously be broadcast on ABC, NBC, and CBS .
The fundraising event will include filmed segments, and performances by some of the biggest names in show business.
Celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, James Taylor, Scarlett Johansson, Meryl Streep, Jack Black, Kirsten Dunst, Charles Barkley, and Keanu Reeves will be answering the phones themselves to take pledges.
The event was organized by Stand up to Cancer, which was founded by a group of media, musical entertainment, and philanthropic leaders including Katie Couric, Sherry Lansing and Laura Ziskin.
LAist spent today on the red carpet at the Kodak Theater, and believe us, it is going to be one star-studded event.
