• The Judge in the Myspace Suicide case is taking time to consider the third motion to dismiss Lori Drew. Drew is accused of helping create a false-identity account and harassing her young neighbor, driving her to suicide.
• A Glendale man is facing 30 years in prison and fines of up to $1 million for lying about horse racing bets on his taxes and stealing customer information while employed at Bank of America from 2001-2003.
• Michael T. Gargiulo, a 32-year-old Santa Monica man was charged today with two capital murders, one of which includes a former flame of Ashton Kutcher's. Oh, he's also facing an attempted murder charge.
• LA Metblogs breaks down the LA Times article saying vulgarities are becoming more common on the internet, but not on their site. Fuck.
• The owner of an Orange medicinal marijuana store is closing up shop today after the second Federal raid in five months. The owner who follows all laws and possesses a city-issued business license said "I'm trying to do this for the right reasons and the right way."
• Barack Obama supports the recent strike by LAX workers. He says "the demands they're fighting for aren't unreasonable -- access to healthcare, adequate training, proper equipment, wages that can support a family."
• An OC coroner has ruled that a brother and sister found dead on Easter both died from natural causes despite the scene where they were found. The man had 3 bullets in his stomach and black shoe polish smeared on his face while his sister was found with bruises on her face and blood coming from her mouth.
