Fight Breaks Out at House of Blues, Woman Trampled
How the hell did a fight break out last night after Three 6 Mafia's show at the House of Blues in West Hollywood? The brawl led to the crowd fleeing the building with one woman getting trampled. Have you been to this venue? Going through their security is tougher than the airport and sometimes lasts just as long.
A woman was trampled and hospitalized for a leg injury, possibly a fracture, when the fight broke out involving HOB's own security team. The fight continued outside before West Hollywood Sheriff's arrived with additional support from the LAPD and Beverly Hills Police Department.
Police arrested two men: one for public drunkenness and one with an outstanding warrant. It is not clear if they were involved in the fight or not. TMZ has a video showing a lot of police in force.

Now I haven't been to a HOB in about 5 years, and never in LA, and that's a good thing. From what I can remember their security was always overly heavy handed, even within the roid-rage bouncer/security guard world.

This happens quite frequently at rap concerts. I recall a 50 Cent and someother rap concert (local act) ended the same way in the past couple years (only someone was stabbed and shot)...
I'd say once an accident, twice a coincidence and thrice - there might be something to be said about the attendees....

I went to Ice Cube on Monday night at HOB. I walked in about 9:35pm, bought a drink at the bar, and meandered my way to the floor BEFORE the show had even started!
I had taken two or three sips and stopped in a spot where a woman immediately signaled to a security guard pal of hers (conjecture and speculation) and gestured that I needed to be removed!
Miss Lady Security swooped in with two men behind her, and immediately pushed me spilled my drink and told me I needed to leave.
I had told her I had done nothing wrong. When she grabbed me again, I protested by going limp. She had to carry my 90lb 5' self out of the club.
There, the indifferent manager didn't offer any condolence that I had just spent over $150 + the drinks.
The security guard asked if I'd like
to be escorted by West Hollywoods Finest, who happened to be right there, ready!
I don't know if this happened to anyone else at Ice Cube, but maybe it was just a warm-up for Three Six Mafia.
