"How can a man in Westwood, armed with 5 hand guns, fire weapons in broad daylight - and simply get arrested and is alive. Yet a homeless man in Inglewood, "armed" with a toy gun and homeless dog, are both fired upon and killed." Same reason a 14 year old kid in South Central who is joy riding gets gunned down by police, but you never hear about kids in Bev Hills or Westwood even getting arrested for joy riding, even though I'm sure it happens all the time. Kids are kids after all.

An interesting point brought up by some Inglewood residents: How can a man in Westwood, armed with 5 hand guns, fire weapons in broad daylight - and simply get arrested and is alive. Yet a homeless man in Inglewood, "armed" with a toy gun and homeless dog, are both fired upon and killed. Even an innocent bystander driving nearby was grazed by a bullet. How do you explain that to your insurance company? "I was shot by the police - but they weren't shooting at me - they were shooting at a homeless man with a toy gun and his dog - What do you mean Inglewood isn't covered in my policy?"

I saw on KCAL9 a witness who said the bum wasn't listening to the instructions by the police and when he finally put his hands up in the air, he was then fired upon. I don't know why it's not mentioned anywhere else - not even on the kcal9 website - but they aired the interview around 10:30pm.
