I was there. The new material is amazing. Her voice as great as ever. Chrissy is my idol- love her!

Chrissie Hynde is sounding as great as she ever has. "The Nothing Matter" has a definite counrty twang to it, but "The Boots of Chinese" sounds a lot like their early stuff. It's ALL GOOD in anycase.

You know I had heard about this but neglected to follow through....then I heard one of their new tracks on the the radio and said: HOT DAMN! then, Doh! It's always a delight when an old favorite makes a resurgance and shows you how good it can be. Reminds me of the Chrissie haircut I sported in Junior year. I like country and eastern too...or is that western and city? maybe the latter....well Americana has grown on me.
