Long Beach Transit Teams up with CSULB

longbeachtransit-csulb.jpgSanta Monica College is already going full force with their Big Blue Bus partnership that gives students and faculty free rides. Now, Long Beach Transit and California State University, Long Beach, are aiming towards a similar program, according to the Press-Telegram: "The one-month trial program, which began Monday, aims to alleviate parking problems on campus, save students gas money and get incoming freshmen in the habit of relying on the bus. CSULB students and employees can swipe their university identification cards on board Long Beach Transit buses to get unlimited free rides on any route, including those that aren't connected with the campus."
