This is good news. The KoC usually put all their resources into anti abortion initiatives. With two right wing religious initiatives on the ballot, (props 8 &amp; 4), they&apos;ll now have to split their resources between the two. That&apos;s sure to mean less funding for both, and a better chance that both will fail.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;You&apos;re behind the news curve here.  The Venice Neighborhood Council board voted last night to give its blessing to these concerts.  Nobody other than police officers spoke against them.  They still have to be okayed by the city council, but the neighborhood council was the major hurdle, and the city council is expected to go along.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>
