LA City Attorney Probed by FBI

Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo seems to never seems to find himself without controversy these days. If he's not protecting his wife for using a city car or having city staff babysit his kids, he's suing the makers of Grand Theft Auto or even suing the city itself. Of course, he does things that he's supposed to do and are noteworthy like not letting the county go on the "double bubble" controversy and taking action on many of the city's gang problems.

But it's those controversial news bites that's going to stick to his brand, especially since the FBI is now investigating him, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

"The investigation is being run out of San Francisco because conflict of interest concerns might arise if the case were assigned to the U.S. attorney in Los Angeles, which sometimes works cases with the city attorney," says the paper who also quotes Delgadillo's spokesman Nick Velasquez saying they have no knowledge of the investigation and that "any allegation of any wrongdoing is nothing more than trash."
