Seven men were arrested and 55 others were charged today as part of a federal-local investigation that spanned 8 months. "The investigation marked the first time law enforcement agencies have broadly targeted peer-to-peer [think Limewire type services] users sharing child pornography," reported the Daily News. "The 55 suspects nabbed in the investigation lived in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties." Among the seven arrested, there was a police officer, a lawyer and a man who lived above a Hollywood daycare center.
