Dodgers Acquire Hall of Fame Pitcher Greg Maddux

Greg Maddux Rejoins the DodgersAccording to Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times, the Dodgers have reacquired Greg Maddux from the San Diego Padres. No details have emerged of this waiver trade with the Padres, and no one with the Dodgers have confirmed the trade. Maddux, 42, was placed on waivers earlier this month, and no team has claimed him. I've recently started watching Dodger games only because the woman I love likes them. Baseball is still pretty boring though. Why can't there be a time limit in between pitches? There's really no need to step away from the plate to regroup, especially when you are one person. I think true athletes would be ready to swing only seconds after the last swing, as well as pitchers throwing the next pitch right away.

youll see some umpires get pissed at batters who take too long and tell the pitcher to just throw.
