Eye Nosh: Good Morning, Benedict!

Kitchen24Benedict.jpg

We seem to have a thing for breakfast these days in our Eye Nosh series. But why not? After all, it's the most important meal of the day. And when it's good it is very, very good. And this dish of breakfast goodness from Kitchen 24 in Hollywood submitted to our LAist Featured Photos pool by ellewoodite looks downright fantastic.

It's the Garden Benedict, which is a toasted English Muffin topped with Black Forest ham, grilled onions, avocado, poached eggs, and smoked paprika hollandaise sauce with a side of herb roasted breakfast potatoes. Kitchen 24's menu is an eclectic and stylish riff on classic diner fare, with breakfast availbale 24/7. (So don't worry if you've slept past "breakfast time" and want to check out Kitchen 24. Hey, if you do it later you can have a cocktail with your Benedict!)

Aww...so sad to post a Benedict with broken sauce! In food porn, this is like failing to airbrush a pimply ass.

Zillah, that sauce doesn't look broken at all. In fact, it looks freshly (and well) made. Why do you say it looks broken? I doubt they'd serve a broken sauce--it's pretty evident (and inedible) from what I remember from culinary school.
