it was basically a 2 hour commercial for the new action figures that i will be purchasing... dammit why must i fall into their trap. As much as i LOVE star wars, this was disappointing. I do agree though that there were some pretty sweet looking visuals. I would like to see a story line just based on the clone troopers alone. the beauty with the star wars universe is that there are unlimited ways to tell a story, they just so happened to pick one that nobody really cared about... ohhh stinky

By today's standards of digital animation the trailers tell me this was hastily crafted with little regard for the movie goer. I'll take a pass.

Yikes. I hate to be a spoilsport, and maybe as an ex-English teacher my focus is too closely trained on the craft of composition, but... "...not a task that I would touch with a 10 foot poll"? "Once scene in particular stands out"?? And--the worst/best of the bunch-- "...true to what Guiness started and what McGregor so daftly carried on"??? I think the author meant to use "pole," "one," and "deftly," respectively. But it appears that the LAist editorial staff is too daft to spend adequate time on proofreading. Simple stuff, guys. Stay diligent, and may the force be with you.
