Just drove by there tonight: the poster is still there although the dog was found three weeks ago... It seems to be indeed just some lame way to advertise the doggy shirt. pretty uncool...

the best explanation is that "i really did lose my dog, so i need to ask people for help. what other way is best than to advertise it on billboard and also at the same time advertise my company". it's like, when the government tells you there's WMD overseas, they dont tell you directly they're trying to liberate other countries from unscrupulous tyrants and also get their oil, even though we all know it's about the oil...
