Foodie Quick Pick: Curry Land on Lankershim

curryland.jpgFor those of you that like curry based Indian food, whether you're eating out, getting takeaway or in for delivery, Curry Land near the NoHo Arts District is pretty amazing. From the samosas to the malai kofta (basically vegetarian meatballs), the curry adaptations of these recipes are a of lot "yum, yum, yum" and leaves little left on the plate. (Curry Land, which used to be called Curry House, is located on Lankershim Blvd. between Moorpark and Cahuenga)

They do a lovely lamb curry, too.
Great review, Zach!

Excellent! I drive by there all the time, but have never stopped. I'll have to correct that mistake.

I also noticed another Indian place opened up a little further down Lankershim, where the Kansas City BBQ used to be. I haven't checked that one out either.

So much curry. So little time!

@db, yeah, i noticed that one too. Haven't been yet, but will make it there soon, I'm sure.

Curry Land was definitely a very pleasant surprise.

THANK YOU!
I LOOOOVEE CurryLand! I used to work nearby, and we ordered Curry Land for lunch at LEAST once a week, if not twice!
The owners are really nice people and take care of their regular customers. I hadn't been exposed to a lot of Indian Food before Curry Land, but I've been spoiled by the best of the best!

My favorite order is the Coconut Chicken Curry extra spicy!
