TV Junkie is still recovering from Discovery's Shark Week but here we are gearing up for the Olympics which start this weekend. Last night's "Generation Kill" was fantastic and gritty as usual, AMC's "Mad Men" looked fantastic as usual and at least more events transpired.

Whoa - check out all the TV on tonight: VH1 is attempting to underwhelm us with a bunch of reality show premieres and there's several finales on other networks as well - "Secret Diary of a Call Girl", "Nashville Star", "American Gladiators", etc. Still not much word from the SAG, hopefully we'll hear something before the Olympics start and drown out everything for a couple weeks.
