Wow, for a family of five with taxes that's over $350 just to get in, let alone drinks and snacks and such - for just one day. That's crazy. Last time I was there was in 1983. Looking at prices I guess we would have had money for food and souvernirs back then. Not today!

In college I dated 3 girls who were DL fanatics, so they all had premium passes and we'd go after classes just about everyday. One eventually went to work for DL and I'd never had to pay for DL again until 2 years ago, when she moved out of CA. I went this year for new years and was shocked on how much a ticket cost - since the last time i paid for a single ticket it was at $35.

Cheapest way to get into DL - befriend a cast member!

I've been here for decades and never been to the "happiest place on earth." There are happier places, cheaper too, in the LA area.

3 dollar increase is nothing at all. For a family of 5, that'd be about 15 bucks extra. Totally within reason, especially for a place like Disneyland.

GAWD.

I've been to Disneyland at least once a year ever since I was old enough to walk -- I have GOT to ask my parents about ticket prices back in the day when my brother & I were little.

I'm also pretty sure my mom & my family went when it first opened in 1955.
