Search is Off for Moe the Chimp; Owners Hope Now He'll Just Sorta Show Up

moe the chimpanzee escapes chimp devoreIt's been more than a month since Moe the Chimp took voluntary leave of his digs at Devore's Jungle Exotics, and he hasn't been found. So now it's time to call off the search, since there aren't enough funds or resources to keep the hunt active. His trainers hope that the missing chimp is still alive, and now just hope he'll "make an appearance." Multiple sightings of what may have been Moe, from a nudist resort to folks driving around Big Bear to a stranded hiker, haven't helped pin down the wandering chimpanzee. Maybe will Moe will wander home, after all.

His first taste of freedom since the Davises "rescued" him from the jungles of Africa.

please. he would probably be dead if is wasn't for that couple. moe should have never been taken from them. that is when all of the mess started! i am sad for the davis'. they raised him for 30 years by themselves. think of that bond.
