I keep hoping to hear more news on the results of this case, but nothing seems to be getting reported. Has anyone heard anything? Did Sept 12 happen? Has the case been decided?

Be cool folks! It already looks like the defense team is going to use the outrage of the cycling community to make Dr. Thompson look like the victim here. Let's not give them any ammunition!

The bad doctor also had hired a couple of body guards that were there. When they left the court room, I was on their tail. The hung out in front of the elevators till only their crew were there. They took the next elevator and the wide freakin security goon was they last one to get on, but he didn't. I was behind him and he was trying to block me out. I kind of muscled my way past him and got on the elevator, as did he after I got on. I just wanted to project my anger on to this bad doctor, and feel the negative energy of this elevator ride. The little twerp attorney was staring and smiling at me. I smiled back and tried to project my anger as best I could. Seem like a soulless and lifeless useless fuck. When we got out of the elevator they were doing the scrambling around like a bunch of rats ready to have a broom lowered on their heads. They made their way through the cafe and out the back. I got a feeling this bald headed slim ball attorney had done this before. If I had someones tele and knew who was downstairs, I could have given everyone the low down. Personally I felt like I had to go home and take a shower after being in the same elevator as these fucks. I'm also really bummed I missed bringing my camera. I could of had some good pics. At least I could spot this sicko on the streets if I ever have the pleasure. Thanks again for being there today Stephen.

Thanks for staying on top of this story. I'm sure with this guy's resources he'll only end up with some lame fine and probation, but it is nice to see someone who has deeply violated the social contract squirm. What a jerk.

DJ, Right you are. Dr. Thompson's Attorney waived the reading of the charges in the courtroom saying "We are aware of the charges." The 4 felony charges (five yrs max State prison): 2 counts of reckless driving causing specified injury 2 counts of battery with serious bodily injury The District Attorney is Mary Stone. Her number is 310-727-6719. She is interested in hearing from anyone who has information on this incident or any information on past incidents with Dr. Thompson.

he's being charged for road rage incidents on two separate days?? if I were him, I'd stop driving altogether.

Assault with a deadly weapon? Stephen, I thought it was two charges of reckless driving and two charges of battery with serious bodily injury. In any case, wow! A publicist...really?? Sneaking out side doors to avoid the media?? chauffeured SUV's? C'mon, doc...pull this one out of Paris and Brittney's playbook? Sounds like the good doctor is definitely investing in his defense and doesn't want his face plastered all over the internet.

He can plead all he wants. It's the civil case that'll sting. His "professional" malpractice insurance won't cover the personal damages of a severed nose. Which could include potential earnings over the course of the victims earning years. Depending on his career. So keep pleading doc. Mercy might be a good choice.
