Oops! I just went back and looked at my link. The guy's name is James Holman. His occupation is listed as the publisher of The San Diego Reader. If you view the list of contributors you'll note several other companies contributing big bucks. It's always good to know who NOT to do business with.

If you look at the SoS link I posted, you'll notice Holbrook contributed $1.4 million to the olny committee listed as supporting prop 4. This looks to me like it was the initial money used to pay for signature gatherers, so I'd bet he had something to do with authoring the bill as well.

Funny how these things always come up during presidential election years... It will never pass (better not!) but it brings the bible beaters to the polls big time just like the anti-gay marriage propositions.

Good post Jessica, "...why bring it back for another vote?" A rhetorical question, I know. One answer; Because fanatical bible thumping moralists will never give up trying to control everyone elses' morals. I haven't looked at who's money is supporting this latest effort, but if I had to guess I'd say it is probably the same people who put up the money to get it on the ballot, and fund the campaigns the last two times.
