What I don't understand is that he lists a zillion, cool, cultural things about LA and then says: "the creative talent is so huge in L.A., and yet it’s so *squandered* by the culture." That doesn't even make any sense. The culture of LA is what makes all these great cultural things possible. Let's see how his first winter in New York goes.

Dude sure does love the word "devolve" (and "devolving"). He pairs it with "Los Angeles" just about every chance he gets. Maybe living in NYC will help expand his vocabulary. At the end of the day, I wonder why I care at all about the reasons for one guy's moving on from a city I enjoy.
