Walking and Tasting Tour of Farmers Market

505441066_33e97b2bf5_m.jpg Looking for a fun weekend excursion at one of the most foodie-friendly locations in LA? Melting Pot Tours will be leading a walking-and-tasting tour of the Farmers Market at 3rd & Fairfax to the Beverly Center at 3rd & La Cienega this Friday and Saturday at 9:30am. Tours are expected to last about 3.5 hours and will include tastings and small bites at various restaurants and eateries along the route.

Tickets are limited, so head over to their website now to reserve your spot. The day includes a DASH bus ride back to your starting location, and tickets are $49 per person. Store owners and merchants will be sharing stories about the neighborhood, and the tour leaders Lisa and Diane Scalia will fill in the gaps with funny and fun stories about this classic stretch of Los Angeles.

Melting Pot Tours will be scheduling future events to celebrate the culinary and cultural diversity of Los Angeles, so if you can't make it out this weekend, keep checking their website for more info.

Nowhere else can one find such a fun and tasty way to get to know such great, intimate history and background of some of L.A.'s best culinary landmarks, and even get to discover a few hidden gems along the way!

Lisa and Diane Scalia display incredible knowledge, insight and personality, and will amaze and enthuse you with their depth of information and entertaining anecdotes. This, when combined with the personal insight and stories of restaurant and shop owners along the way, makes for one of the absolute best and most fun tours in L.A.

I can't wait to bring some more friends along on this great Farmers Market/3rd St. Tour, and to participate in some of the additional new events being cooked up by these fun gals at Melting Pot Tours!
