Rain Forest Action Network, The Sierra Club, and a host of other organizations has been trying to exhert pressure on Ford, GM, Chrysler, to build smaller fuel efficient vehicles for years, but they didn&apos;t want to listen to a bunch of &quot;tree huggers&quot;.

One particular campaign was suggested a couple of years ago to go into dealerships and ask the sales staff about why there weren&apos;t more fuel efficient vehicles in production. The answer I got from a salesman when I suggested that American car companies were going to get left behind was; &quot;Never Happen!&quot;

Fuck &apos;em they did this to themselves.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
