Thanks neckbeard, those are awesome anecdotes.

It's on LAist because:

- It's a DVD that was sent for us for review
- There are baseball fans in Los Angeles and the DVD is billed as "Yankee Stadium: _Baseball's_ Cathedral"
- Last week, the All Star game was played in Yankee Stadium
- This is the last year that Yankee Stadium is in service
- Need more reasons?

The two most important things to ever happen at Yankee Stadium were game 7 of the 1955 World Series (when the Brooklyn Dodgers clinched the World Series) and game 6 of the 1981 World Series (when the LA Dodgers clinched the World Series).

Also, my first date with my fiance was at Yankee Stadium, so that counts too (the Red Sox won).

Why is this on LAist?
