Get Out: Saturday

DO A DOUBLE FEATURE: See two great films and get a whole lot of looks at some John Lautner architecture without even realizing you're being schooled. First up at 7 it's Less Than Zero, the ultimate LA-overindulgent teen tale of the 80s, then at 9 it's The Big Lebowski. The screenings are part of the Hammer Museum's ongoing Lautner focus, which looks at the innovative architecture of a local legend.

GET GLOW-ING: GLOW promises to be an unforgettable night of music and art and people right on the shore of Santa Monica. The pier, the beach, and the park will be taken over by art installations, and KCRW DJs will be spinning tunes until the sun comes up. Don't miss it!

TIME TRAVEL TO THE TWENTIES: Check out the Homestead Museum in Rowland Heights for their Ticket to the Twenties event this weekend. From 4-8 tonight you can enjoy music, dance demonstrations and lessons by The Hollywood Hotshots, crafts, vintage automobiles, historic house tours, and tasty food--tonight you can learn to play the ukelele. Could be the cat's meow or the bee's knees!

WITNESS THE SWINGIN' LIFE: At the Groundlings' new show, Key Party, which plays at 8 and 10 tonight. The Times said this sketch show has "nary a lame entry" in the lineup. Sweet!

Other things to do: Check out the New Original Works at REDCAT, see if Kenny makes you laugh, take a walk in your walkable neighborhood, go horseback riding, or see if you can take the swill at Suede.
