One Artist's Simple Restaurant Art
Local artist Paul Pescador performs art when he sits down to eat at a restaurant. He explains: "I sit down at a table in a crowded restaurant. I pick up a saltshaker from across the table and place it in my pocket. From my jacket, I pull out a different shaker, one I took from the last restaurant I visited. I carefully place it next to the pepper and order my meal." He then photographs it. He also documents the number of steps a grocery cart travels from its home. (via Urban Prankster)

Waiter? There's a bunch of lint in my salt...and I think this is a Tic Tac.

Art?
Is there anything that ISN'T art?
"I'm an artist,I go into restaurants and steal all the Sweet N Low. Then I put it in tea. Guerrilla art I take all the pink off that table!"

If you consider it your art, then it is art.

Hmm. I noticed that on his photo page he has a shot of toothbrushes alongside the saltshakers pic. If he's doing the same "art" with them, I'm guessing he's not be the most popular house guest...

lets see....the shopping cart step thing...well...there is one in particular that i believe has gone higher than the count given. cart12.jpg to be exact. there is no way the cart got like that after only 894 steps. no way. maybe 89498 steps i would think..
oh one question...how many steps did you take from where you took your first salt shaker to where you traded it with another....how many steps were taken between those restaurants... hmmmm?
my response is art.
